Metal-to-metal contact requires protection for gas tight seals capable of withstanding sliding wear in corrosive conditions at high pressure. It is critical therefore that all the components within this process perform to their maximum and allow the drilling to be efficient, cost effective and environmentally friendly.

Through the use of industry approved thermal processing treatments we are able to extend the life of gate valves and seats by reducing the wear caused to them through abrasion, erosion and corrosion, thus helping to reduce downtime. Bodycote services for these components include heat treatment, surface coatings, and Hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP).
